Paul Cox. Exposition à faire soi-même
The CENTQUATRE building's scale mode, which size is 510cmX170cmX50cm, is presented on a 44cm high table. A second table, same as the first one, to the side, is constituted by two parts: a worktop and a series of compartments to storage wooden and plastic blocks, polypropylene plates, metal bars, iron wires, textile, stones... People are invited to create a scale installation to put inside the scale model using the materials offered and others got from home. Francesca MontÃ
Correspondent in Paris I had never considered moving here, but the French design by 5.5 designers was so intriguing I decided to knock on their door. This instinctive, impulsive decision turned out to be a very good one. Later I realized I was in Paris, and I began to discover, with amazement, the different arrondissements, from the 1st to the 20th, with their great variety, something for everyone; this was real work, it seemed endless, and I continue to do it with passion. Born in Biella, Piedmont (so the road was not so long to come here), I moved to Milan where I took a degree in design at the Milan Polytechnic. During those years of study, partially spent in Spain, as well, I had the chance to gain experience working with Spazio Rossana Orlandi and the Ciboh studio in Milan, Fondazione Pistoletto in Biella, and working on personal projects in the area of food design, which is still one of my main interests, together with art, music, fashion, design and architecture. www.cinqcinqdesigners.com www.hoteldelocen.org francesca_monta@yahoo.it
